Raymond Burke and John Walker:  A simple, effective solution for uncontested divorce needs.

Raymond Burke

Raymond Burke moved to North Carolina 

in 1969. He has lived in both Raleigh and Charlotte, attended North Carolina State University, and received a BA degree. He then received a Juris Doctor Degree (JD) from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill.


He and his uncle John practiced together from 1996 to 2003.  They have re-merged their practices in anticipation of John's retirement this year.


John Walker

A native of North Carolina, John Walker attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was subsequently accepted into the University of North Carolina School of Law, one of the oldest law schools in the United States, established in 1845, and the oldest law school in North Carolina. John Walker graduated from the law school with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

In 2019, John moved his law practice from Charlotte to Eden, NC, where his son, Chip (also known as John Jr.), manages the Eden office alongside his spouse, Katrina.

John Walker announces Retirement

The Divorce Clinic regrets to announce that John Walker is retiring from his position as attorney for the business.

After more than 56 years of providing affordable and accessible divorce services to North Carolina, John is passing his practice on to his nephew, Raymond A. Burke.


John and Raymond previously partnered at Walker, Walker & Burke in Charlotte, which ensures a smooth transition for the business. The Divorce Clinic's clients can continue to expect the same high-quality service and exceptional value they have always received.
